Just two weeks prior to my paid maternity leave running out, an opportunity landed on my lap that showed me that the stars and the planets really can align to help your dreams come true, if you just have a little faith in the ways of the universe!
A few weeks earlier I had attended my first Arbonne party. I had no idea what Arbonne was, I was washing my face with soap every night - I had no skin care regime happening at all, and I had absolutely no intention of buying anything at this party. I was one month away from being a one-income family, the budget had been set. I was determined that I was going to do everything in my power to make being a stay-at-home-mum a reality for me and my family. In my mind, that seemed to be along the lines of living in a strict budget, however the universe soon showed me that I could have my dream AND not have to worry about money either.
At the party, I was the one whose skin reacted to the products. Yep, sitting at the table with a dozen other ladies, I was the one they were staring at as I had a bright red face, soon after the facial had begun. I soon learned it was because my skin was so far out of shape (from being neglected for years), that the magical Arbonne products really had to work hard to correct my skin and bring it back to its natural state. I went home that night thinking about the struggle I have had with breakouts since I was around 11 years old. I had only once found a product that seemed to control the breakouts, but that product bleached my towels, my bedding and even my clothes!! If it was bleaching these things, I hated thinking what it was doing to my skin, so I stopped using it and went back to being the blotchy, spotty girl again. I decided that I would host a party of my own in a few months, - I know how party plan works - hosts get a bunch of products for free and at huge discounts, so this seemed like a good option to me. I could learn more about the products, save up a little money, and in the meantime, finish planning and hosting my baby girl's first birthday party - which had seriously taken on a life of its own!!
Anyway, I trialled the RE9 anti-aging skin care products for a week, and I couldn't believe the change in my skin! It felt amazing!! And I soon got chatting to my Arbonne consultant and realised that behind these incredible products, lies an even more amazing business opportunity. I have done party plan before - I sold Tupperware for a few years and built a successful little business, alongside my full-time teaching job, and I made enough money doing it to pay for our share of our wedding. So, I knew that I could make money this way. But the more I learned about the Arbonne business model, the more I began to realise that this business really could change our financial future. The top ten female income earners in Network Marketing worldwide ALL come from Arbonne! And these ladies are all doing 6-8 parties a month and earning six, even seven figure incomes!! The success plan is simple, just follow the plan and you will promote out, and you will see the money flow in.
Guess what?? I followed the plan (well, maybe not quite to the letter, but I tried) for the first 3 months and I was promoted to the first manager level - District Manager - just 9 weeks after joining!! The proof is in my pudding guys, I did it, and so can you!!
I am soooooo excited about where my journey is headed now. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you - I know that Arbonne is going to be the game-changer for my family. And I am so glad that you are here with me to share the ride :)
